He is so quiet at the moment. We adopted him on 31 March 2013, and he has already learnt (kinda) step up. He is 16 weeks old today! Slowly we hope that he and Yoshi will get along. At the moment they attack eachother :(

I have joined the Quaker club, meet Yoshi! She is 8 weeks today! She traveled to me on a 2 hour flight :) So glad to have such a beautifully hand raised bird!

Too bad feeding the birds is now restricted to a small area and the birds are too scared to come down for a feed.

Today we went to the Royal Botanical Gardens: Cranbourne. Last night I was talking about how when we eventually build our aviary, I’d love to have a few Superb Fairy-Wrens, and then here one is in plain sight for me to photograph!

Update: Dora’s parents started ripping out her head feathers, so she is now back inside where she’ll stay for good :)
